"As a 63 year old woman, I originally started working with Christine over a year ago to improve core strength and agility so I could continue riding my horse in the ring and on trail. Having suffered a back injury in the past, I wanted to retain and improve overall fitness. This decision proved invaluable because I was seriously injured in an equestrian accident in April 2018 suffering a spinal fracture and nerve damage in my gluteal muscle. The doctor told me that if I hadn’t been so fit that the accident would likely have been much worse.
Although I’m not riding horses anymore, I am lucky and grateful to be well on the way to a complete recovery. I was laid up for 3 months while the fracture healed and then did 3 months of physical therapy. My physical therapist told me that returning to Pilates would be the best way to ensure continued progress. Christine is now helping me rebuild my core strength from the ground up. I am feeling great again and am completely off pain meds. It is a such a joy to be getting my body back!
Christine is superb Pilates instructor and the environment at her workplace is very pleasant. I love going there. She works with me in such a focused, patient and fun way. I have observed her working with other clients in private and duet sessions and in larger Pilates classes too. Everyone is treated with the same professionalism as I am.
